J.D. Crowe has just confirmed his support and presence at the June 4th benefit show for former dobro player Phil Leadbetter. This is one of several benefits scheduled to help raise funds for medical costs following Phil's diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This benefit will be at Dumplin Valley in Kodak, TN.
Current J.D.Crowe & The New South Band
Crowe, is still recovering from a broken arm suffered back in February while his band, The New South, was on tour and may not get much pickin' time in but he confirmed he will be there andhis band will perform at the benefit. The 74 year-old, Crowe fell while getting off the band's bus in Youngstown, Ohio and is now recovering from two breaks in his upper left arm.
