• Twin sisters Dana and Lauren - Formerly known as Malibu Storm and The Shankman Twins are back with a new video celebrating California Style Bluegrass. The video is from their new CD Dana and Lauren
  Volume Five has Released New Recording! Children of the Mountain on Mountain Fever Records .

• The Rangers and Rounder Pair Up! —Bluegrass ambassadors, The Steep Canyon Rangers have just signed with Rounder Records. Along with Steve Martin, The Rangers played for more people than any other bluegrass band in 2010.

• Rural Rhythm Records is Recording the 45th annual Bean Blossom festival for a Live! in celebration of the100th anniversary of Bill Monroe’s birth.

• Country Road - A European Documentary featuring Valerie Smith and Liberty Pike is being viewed with high praise. A trailer for the film can be seen on the Prescription Bluegrass Blog.

• After Much Anticipation, The Worlds first Bluegrass Academy has gone LIVE. Bluegrass Notables help students learn to play, Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin and Bass through On-line lessons.

• O Brother Two - Commemorating the 10th Anniversary of 2001's GRAMMY® Album Of The Year and blockbuster movie is coming in August. The 2 Disc Set features 13 previously unreleased tracks including two by John Hartford and one by Harley Allen, both of whom have since passed away.
