New Audio Book Features Original Music from Mark Brine!

We heard from Mark Brine, a musician who's described as part Bob Dylan and part Hank Williams and praised for his efforts in American Traditional Music.

Mark's newest project is a 14 hour audio book based on the children's story about Jack Frost and accompanied by his original score.

Mark says, "Despite the common 'children's story'-association of the main character, Jack Frost, this is NOT that!.. But, rather..adult-oriented entertainment.. Though, nothing offensive!..Strictly a depthly,(sic) intricate account to be followed w/ sharp focus. The story is actually about a SONG/HYMN.. and so its main title!"
The full title; "THE CAROL and True Folk Legend of Jack Frost", by Mark Vincent Brine, is an audio book complete with soundtrack available through Audible.com, Amazon.com and other online sites.

One review says it's ..."A 'mind-movie', a literary epic, and a musical odysessy all in one! A winter-into-spring (though totally enjoyable year 'round!) story and account of the greatest hymn of all-time and its creator, the most overlooked hero in all of Christmas history. Here is an adult (possibly young-adult in some cases) and very calculated, intricate plot with a profound ending and message."

Brine is not only the author and composer of this work but also the narrator.

Another review stated: "With the music, it’s an unforgettable experience to hear this book. If you are open to old-style country music (such as the O Brother Where Art Thou sound track), you will also enjoy this audio book."

A double-CD Soundtrack companion to the book (featuring 33 songs/musical pieces from
