The first single, “Carolina Moonshine Man”, released to radio  through AirplayDirect.com is being well received!    In addition to enjoying the single on the radio, you’ll also hear Lou Reid and Carolina as they perform live throughout the country.

With a sound largely based in traditional bluegrass roots with an emphasis on dynamic vocals and musicianship, Lou Reid anchors the band with lead vocals and is arguably the most recognizable voice in bluegrass music.  Lou Reid is joined by noted band members Christy Reid, Trevor Watson, and Shannon Slaughter along with very special guests and award-winning musicians Tony Rice, Ron Stewart, Rob Ickes, and Mike Auldridge.

“Callin’ Me Back Home” is a statement surrounding the premise of this entire project.  It takes the listener to the place where each of the band members and guests planted their roots – in the firm, solid ground of bluegrass music.  In addition to the first single, listeners will enjoy When the Love We Have Is Gone, Big Old Red Guitar, and Preacher Man.  This release showcases 10 great selections in all!  The CD can be found online at iTunes, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, FYE, LouReidandCarolina.com, and many other web-based retailers as well as retail outlets Wal-Mart, Best Buy, specialty stores, and more.

Lou Reid and Carolina have a strong foundation throughout the bluegrass and acoustic markets performing throughout the US, Canada, and international countries as well as numerous sales and airplay charts entries.  They are highly awarded and regarded by their peers and fans alike.  This greatly-anticipated release will be another chapter in the foundation of bluegrass music.
