Image635114686999638786'Via Fest' is a large music festival and Benefit which will feature 15 great local and regional bands (List Below)! Proceeds will go to help pay the medical expenses of injured musician David Via (pronounced like “sky”).

Via, a three-time winner of the songwriter award at  the prestigious MerleFest was attacked and severely injured just prior to a show and now folks in the community are getting together to help him with the extensive medical bills. Here is David's story below...

“The tough part — healing — still lies ahead. His songs, ‘Every Loss has a Gain’ and ‘Pawn Shops and Wedding Rings,’  try to make sense of the inescapable geometry that connects pain, joy and resurrection. But David Via will probably take years to make sense out of what befell him in June at that gig that never happened.” - Bertrand M. Gutierrez wrote in the Winston Salem Journal this week

Please come out and join Americans united by music against violent crime on Aug 16-17!

Brackett Cedar Park will be serving food all day and night, and RV's, campers, and camping are welcome at affordable rates... tent camping is free with the purchase of a two day pass for Via Fest and $20 for RV sites per night.
