Richard Bennett and Wyatt Rice have teamed up to hit the road with two guitars, a bass and Richard’s timeless vocals.
This guitar duo is two of the most well known and respected guitarist in the industry.
Richard is currently working on a new album which will release in early 2014 on Lonesome Day Records and will feature the talents of Adam Steffey, Mark Schatz, Ron Stewart, and Legendary Guitarist Tony Rice!
Most known for his time with J.D. Crowe & The New South where he spent several years, Richard has since performed with several of the industry's biggest artists such as Terry Baucum, Lou Reid, Tony Rice, Bobby Osborne, Vasser Clements, Kenny Baker, and The Bluegrass Album Band just to name a few!
Wyatt was first spotlighted as an original member of the Tony Rice Unit where he played primarily rhythm guitar, although he had many opportunities for soloing as well.
Wyatt has played countless gigs with the the Tony Rice Unit. He played lead and rhythm guitar with his own band “Wyatt Rice & Santa Cruz” and with The Ronnie Bowman Committee. Wyatt has recorded or performed with players such as David Grisman, JD Crowe, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Dan Tyminski, Alison Krauss, Bela Fleck, Rickie Simpkins, Ronnie Bowman, Lee Ann Womack, The Lonesome River Band, Sierra Hull, Ricky Skaggs, as well as his brothers Larry, Tony and Ronnie.
