Steeldrivers and Alumn Score at Grammys!

Rounder recording group The Steeldrivers took the top spot for bluegrass at the 58th annual Grammy's awards presentations.

The Steeldrivers were awarded Best Bluegrass Album: The Steeldrivers, THE MUSCLE SHOALS RECORDINGS
at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Former Steeldriver and founding member of the group, Chris Stapleton was the recipient of the award for BEST COUNTRY SOLO PERFORMANCE for his album titled: TRAVELER.

Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn, also on the Rounder label, were the winners in the Folk category for their self-titled album.

This marks the fourth nomination and first win for The SteelDrivers. THE MUSCLE SHOALS RECORDINGS is the SteelDrivers’ fourth studio album, and was recorded in Muscle Shoals at the legendary NuttHouse Recording Studio.

Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn is the eponymous debut album for the duo. Fleck is now a sixteen-time GRAMMY winner, with Washburn taking home her first Grammy win this year.
