Legendary banjo player Eddie Adcock underwent more surgery yesterday to correct a problem with his Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) device- specifically the neck wire.
According to his wife and musical partner, Martha, "Eddie (is) out of surgery (neck-wire) yesterday evening, recuperating slowly today, and wants to thank everyone for their concern. He'll need to undergo brain surgery again, though! "The sooner, the better," he says; and the Vanderbilt docs and staff are in high gear to get him done a.s.a.p.
The couple will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary tomorrow, Jan 20.
