Nashville, Tenn. – August 15, 2011 –"Music City Roots: Live From The Loveless Cafe," (MCR) will celebrate two years of music, food and fun this fall with performances from Marty Stuart, Will Hoge, Thrift Store Cowboys and more.

In addition, Music City Roots recently partnered with Griffin Technology and Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine adding to an impressive list of sponsors, which includes Nissan, Whole Foods Market, The Nature Conservancy, Vietti Chili, Ascend Federal Credit Union and more.

Produced and co-founded by Todd Mayo, founder of the subterranean PBS television series and radio show, Bluegrass Underground and John Walker, sales manager and career radio man, these music and marketing innovators have provided a unique platform for brands to partner and build community through a genuine love of music.

“Griffin Technology takes great pride in our local community and talent, and we’re thrilled to support Music City Roots’ initiative to bring music lovers together,” said Mark Rowan, President of Griffin Technology. “As an organization whose values of authenticity and love of music align closely with our own, it’s our pleasure to help them keep the tradition going, which we hope will continue for years to come.”

Sponsors are able to broaden their customer base by connecting with the music lover in an intimate setting.  MCR provides a unique experience of discovery for its audience and a valuable opportunity for sponsor companies to share their brand message with a crowd eager for something fresh whether it is a new voice, a new song or perhaps a new brand. Relationships are built and community is grown from the roots to the branches.

"Music City Roots is a platform to export the quality and diversity of our musical culture, it is a community of bands, fans and brands” says Executive Producer, Todd Mayo. “We are fortunate that our family of sponsors are as authentic as the artist who make this show possible.”
“The Music City Roots crowd on site at the Loveless Barn and globally on musiccityroots.com is filled with early adopters looking for new music and brands…having companies recognize that is music to our ears,” says John Walker.

The weekly show, built on Music City’s remarkable music scene and legacy of live radio variety shows, airs Wednesday nights from 7 - 9 p.m. CST live on WRLT Lightning 100 and a growing roster of syndicated affiliates around the country. Broadcast from the beautiful barn venue behind the world-famous Loveless Cafe, Music City Roots has experienced tremendous growth in its first two years and attendees are often treated to eclectic themed shows like “Guitar,” Ten Out of Tenn” and “Australia.”  Visit www.musicityroots.com to see the upcoming lineup of artists and themes.
