Written by former Volume Five band member Colby Laney, the new project's first single, "Rich Man's Daughter"is a perfect example of what listeners have to look forward to with the band's next offering. Prescription Bluegrass Reviews Josh Graves Book!

Image634865031326872656JOSH GRAVES - Bluegrass Bluesman, Josh Graves, A Memoir,”

Review by: W.J. Hallock

In my humble opinion, the 1960’s was the most pivotal decade in the post WWII era. Yes, that was fifty plus years ago, but, those times had a profound affect on the United States, on me and the way I’ve lived my life since. The ‘60’s still bring back memories that can bring me to tears…..

Stop and think what emotions run through your mind when you hear certain catch words. Words like: Viet Nam, Cuban missile crisis, civil rights, Martin Luther King, JFK, Dallas, Oswald, Jack Ruby, Bobby Kennedy, Medgar Evers, Neil Armstrong, “One giant leap for mankind.” So much change….. historically, politically and socially.

Image634863205312960634With only 6 days to go, the Kickstarter Campaign started by James Reams to help fund the post production of his ten-year project to document the “Pioneers of Bluegrass” is just $50 shy of meeting the goal.

Why this is important now is because without that last $50.00 none of the other contributions will be forwarded.  Kickstarter’s policy is the project MUST MEET THE GOAL BY THE DEADLINE.

Here is a screen shot of the Kickstarter Page showing the progress.  Click the Pic to Donate.
