H.R. Cook, President of Weaver of Words Music Group has announced it will add a booking and management division to the company. Weaver of Words Music has been one of the country’s largest and most successful publishing companies in acoustic and bluegrass music over the last decade. The publishing company has been home to many songwriters who have achieved great success including Daniel Salyer("Jackup The Jail" by Lonesome River Band, "Runnin' Through My Mind" by Balsam Range, "Working Hard Ain't Working Anymore by Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice), Alan Johnston ("Sweet Appalachia" by Del McCoury Band, "Two Nickels And A Dime" by David Davis & the Warrior River Boys) and Barry Clevenger("Weary Pilgrim Welcome Home" by Larry Stephenson) among others. It has been through his relationship with so many artists that H.R. Cook has seen a need for booking and management. "Our goal is to be a viable link between talent buyers and the artists we represent and also offer long-term success planning for those we manage", states Cook.
Weaver of Words has officially launched their booking division through alliances with Mountain Fever recording artists Volume Five and Ashlee Blankenship & Blades of Blue, and Rural Rhythm recording artist The Tommy Webb Band. All three artists are currently accepting bookings through 2013. The company will make an announcement very soon regarding their management division.
