Mountain Fever Records is proud to announce the release of a brand new Christmas CD by Heather Berry titled Have A Merry Berry Christmas. The CD has been shipped to radio and is available to consumers worldwide today! A Virginia native, Heather has a strong love for the traditional country music that she first heard from the Carter Family. Thusly, she learned to play an arch top guitar accompanying herself in a Maybelle Carter-esque manner.
The simplicity of which, combined with her song-bird singing is truly unparalled. Although a regional favorite for several years now, Heather has been reaching international audiences as of late with her YouTube project, "Song of the Day Challenge" where Heather posts one song per day for an entire year on her YouTube channel. The project is barely a month old and already viewership has reached over 15,000.
Recently signed to Mountain Fever Records, label executives wasted no time in bringing Heather into the studio to record her first project. Have A Merry Berry Christmasencompasses 10 classic Christmas songs inluding Irving Berlin's "White Christmas", made most famous by the late Bing Crosby, the Bill Monroe standard, "Christmas Time's A Comin'", Merle Haggard's "If We Make It Through December" and Willie Nelson's "Pretty Paper". Joined by her husband Tony Mabe, the two talented musicians perform all the music with help from Merle Johnson on fiddle.
