Finnders and Youngberg Offer Instruction for all Levels on Guitar, Mandolin, Fiddle,Banjo, Clawhammer Banjo, Bass and Vocals!
Bluegrass music will echo off the canyon walls when classes begin at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 16 for the third annual Bluegrass Camp at Ghost Ranch north of Sante Fe, New Mexico.Bluegrass musicians of all levels will fine tune their ensemble playing and harmony singing while enjoying the magnificent setting of the 21,000 acre Ghost Ranch.
The Camp ends Sunday, May 20 with an open air concert and jam session.
Instructions for instruments include guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, clawhammer banjo, and bass. Vocal instructions will include how to get the most out of your voice, conquer your inhibitions, find your range and choose the correct key. Participants will learn how bluegrass bands get away with using just one microphone and what to say between songs. Everything you’ve ever wanted to know and everything you’ve enjoyed about bluegrass music will be included at the Bluegrass Camp at Ghost Ranch, May 16-20.
Leadership for the Bluegrass Music Camp is an impressive array of talented, experienced, and high-caliber musicians. Heading up the list is Mike Finders, a singer, songwriter, guitar-picker and professional educator transplanted to Colorado from the Midwest. Mike will be joined by Gregg Daigle, Matt Flinner, Aaron and Erin Youngberg, Cahalen Morrison, Brian Wicklund and Eli West.
