One of the most popular bands to burst onto the music scene in recent years, Balsam Range consists of 5 musicians  — Buddy  Melton on fiddle; Darren Nicholson on mandolin; Tim Surrett on bass; Marc Pruett on banjo; and Caleb Smith on guitar. The band has received multiple nominations over the last couple of years from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and took home the 2011 IBMA Song of the Year award for "Trains I Missed" from their latest project on Crossroads Music. Promoting the release of their upcoming project, Papertown,  Balsam Range will deliver a powerful, musically masterful, and positive stage show that will captivate and entertain audiences of all genres.

Stephenson, highly regarded as one of bluegrass music's finest high lead and tenor vocalists, has been a touring musician since he performed with his dad in the 1970's, cutting his teeth on the music of the first generation of bluegrass musicians. The Larry Stephenson Band has toured widely and recorded frequently, nurturing it’s own sound based on Larry’s crystal clear, easily recognizable tenor voice, while providing a musical home for some of the finest sidemen in contemporary bluegrass history. Many appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and RFD TV have made The Larry Stephenson Band a fan favorite all across the US and Canada. In 1996, Stephenson was made a member of the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame by the Virginia Folk Music Association and he's been named Male Vocalist of the Year five times by SPBGMA (Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America). After 18 years of recording for Pinecastle Records, Stephenson formed his own record label and released a landmark career CD titled 20thAnniversary that included guest performers such as Ricky Skaggs, Connie Smith, Marty Stuart, Del McCoury, Dale Ann Bradley, Dudley Connell, and Sonny Osborne.  From that project, "Give This Message to Your Heart" with Dailey and Vincent won IBMA's Recorded Event of the Year. 2011 marked yet another milestone when Stephenson signed a new recording agreement with the national record label, Compass Records.
