Once again, Nadine Landry writes for the band. We thank her and the entire band for sharing their escapades with us over the last several weeks. This last post includes two more great videos as well.
Well, the Foghorn Europe tour has been over for a two weeks or so, but we feel like sharing our last week in Switzerland with y'all!
Greeted by François, a friend from France relocated near Lafayette, LA, we spent our first hours in Geneva walking around in the town, by the Lake Geneva, through the botanical garden, and eventually arrived at the venue: Le 
Bibarium. A cute little neighborhood bar, le Bibarium has an impressive wine selection, tasty local beers on tap and a great bartender named Josephine! After an amazing burger dinner, the crowd made its way down to the tiny basement where the stage was. We got to meet right away a Swiss Cajun band called Mama Rosin! Great band, check them out!
We then drove 30 kms to the next gig on the schedule, La Parenthèse, in Nyon. The venue is once again in a little basement, but this one was apparently built 2000 years ago by the Romans. Ben, who organized the gig, took us to dinner in an amazing restaurant right on the lake, then back to the venue fro a 11pm show start!

From Nyon, we drove to Crissier to play the 3rd annual Blues Rules, great little outdoor festival showcasing a variety of blues musicians from the US and Europe.

Then back in the car for a late night gig back in Geneva in yet another basement bar called Le Cabinet!! Sunday morning greeted us with an amazing sun! Good thing because we were scheduled to play Le Bain des Paquis, a Geneva gem! It's a beach by the lake Geneva, in the middle of the city, where people all ages come to sunbathe, swim, enjoy a good meal and music!
Monday was Pentecostal Monday, a public holiday in Switzerland. We celebrated with our friends in their backyard with a BBQ, tunes, beer and wine!
Tuesday was our last night and we finished in an Irish bar in France (on the outskirts of Geneva) called Le Paddy's Bar! They had added seafood etouffée on the menu for the occasion!
Thanks to Leonard, Robin, Dujna, Cyril, François, Jean-Bernard and all our new friends in Switzerland for making our first trip there a success! Looking forward to seeing you all!
