Deering Launces Logo Contest for Goodtime’s 16th Birthday!

The Deering Goodtime banjo is the most popular American made banjo in the world. To celebrate the “Sweet 16” Anniversary of the Goodtime banjo which was introduced in 1996, Deering is creating a series of events throughout the remainder of this year to celebrate this milestone in the company’s 37 year history of making quality American made banjos.

Deering believes it is their customers who should be thanked for the popularity of the Goodtime banjo. Because of this they are offering them the opportunity to enter into the spirit of celebration by creating keystone events that lovers of the Goodtime banjo around the world can participate in.

Deering, the Great American Banjo Company, will launch the celebration with a Goodtime Sweet 16 Logo Design Contest starting July 1st and ending July 31st and will be accepting logo designs from individuals that will be used to logo t-shirts, stickers, banjo heads, and more.

These special items will be available to customers only throughout the remainder of this “Sweet 16” anniversary year. Everyone is encouraged to participate. The finalists will be chosen by a public vote from August 1-14th, 2012. The winners will be chosen by Deering on August 15th, 2012.

The design should be focused around the Goodtime banjo and any of the logos from the website can be included. While the design will become the property of the Deering Banjo Company, the winners will be announced on the Deering website and through the Deering Banjo Company’s social media channels. The Grand Prize winner will receive the first Goodtime banjo with the Sweet Sixteen logo and the other special items created by Deering featuring their winning design.
