If you’ve always wanted to work in the field of your passion, this may be the chance. MerleFest, the North Carolina super-festival that honors the late Doc Watson’s son Merle has announced an opening for an Events Artist Relations Manager.
This is a full time, year-round position. Salary and benefits commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the college salary plan.
This position requires a minimum of an associate’s degree or 5 years related experience. Previous artist relations experience is preferred. Among other duties, the position will be responsible for selecting the artists who appear annually at Merlefest and other assigned events at Wilkes Community College.
