AirPlay Direct Announces "Buzz About You" Artist Contest

AirPlay Direct is re-launching their digital magazine, the Direct Buzz. 

The first of the new issues will hit the web on March 4th, 2013. 

The Direct Buzz is a bi-monthly digital music magazine which operates as a direct portal between member’s music and artistry to the APD 8,000+ radio station members in over 85 countries, the APD 35,000+ artist/label members, and the global music industry at large.

The Direct Buzz team will choose 10 APD Artists to be showcased in the "Featured Artists" section of the magazine.

The 5 issues of the Direct Buzz to be published in 2013 are March, May, July, September and November.

AirplayDirect distributes music to radio stations around the world on various fee structures for the artists but a limited “Free account” is available.

Submission Requirements:

• You must be a member of AirPlay Direct
• Submissions will only be accepted via your APD DPK
• A minimum of 3 songs must be submitted
• 10 artists will be chosen for each of the 5 issues of the Direct Buzz and will be showcased in the "Featured Artists" section
• The deadline for submission is Monday, February 4th to be considered for the March 4th issue
• The March issue of the Direct Buzz will focus on celebrating the 8th Year Anniversary of AirPlay Direct and the re-launch of the Direct Buzz
