Mary J. Hale, Founder and CEO of the PINK ARROW PROJECT, is proud to announce the multi-award winning bluegrass band, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice have joined the organization to help raise awareness of the campaign.
The PINK ARROW PROJECT began with Archers Helping Archers, but has now expanded into helping cancer survivors and their families outside the archery community and funding ground-breaking cancer research.
The band joins Carrie Hassler, Marty Raybon, The Roys and Rodney Dillard & The Dillard Band who support the organization.
“I am overwhelmed with the support we are receiving from the music community with all of these talented artists jumping on board to help spread the word of our organization,” said Hale. “We are so honored to have the Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice helping us to reach people who might not have otherwise heard of the PINK ARROW PROJECT.”
A new album, “The Story Of The Day That I Died” by Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, releases on Rebel Records March 12. Earlier this month, the band took home three awards from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association (SPBGMA) including the Album of the Year award for “The Heart Of A Song,” the Song of the Year for their hit, “A Far Cry from Lester and Earl,” and bandleader Junior Sisk as Male Vocalist of the Year in the Contemporary category. Last October, the group also won the 2012 International Bluegrass Music Association's Song Of The Year Award for "A Far Cry From Lester And Earl" and Album Of The Year for “The Heart Of A Song.”
