Kindred Records has signed a record deal with Kermit, WV bluegrass group JD Messer and Sanctified.
The band is currently in the studio recording tracks for a new Gospel all-original project and is planned for release this summer.
Two singles are now being released simultaneously, "Peter Stepped Out" is a solid Bluegrass Gospel number that sure fits the classic Doyle Lawson mold and a bonus track release "Lunch Box Letter" that really touches the hearts and minds of anyone with coal miners in the family.
Band members are John D. Messer - mandolin/lead vocals, Kenny Stanley - guitar/vocals, Jerry Sturgell - dobro/vocals, Kayla Amburgey - bass/vocals, Brent Amburgey - banjo/vocals, and Albon Clevenger - fiddle/vocals.
Great bluegrass with a Gospel message, solid vocal harmonies, and a hard driving performance. The group is currently booking and looking forward to performing and expanding their territory.
