Valerie Smith says that her dad once gave her some great advice when she was having a “Square” moment in a round world.
Later she had the opportunity to write songs with Country legend Tom T. Hall along with Dixie Hall and Valerie’s dad, David Stevens.
The song “The Moon Ain’t Square”
was included in the most recent Daughters of Bluegrass 3-Disc Box-Set, Pickin’ Like A Girl (Disc 2-Track 14).
Now Val has taken her video camera around Historic Bell Buckle, TN and along with the footage from several Man-On-The-Street interviews and various still shots of the moon she’s put together a fun lyric video and released it for viewing.
