Nominations for the 2014 Northern California Bluegrass Awards from NCBS Members are due no later than Monday, September 30, 2013.
Nominations may be made in person at the Northern California Bluegrass Society Information Booth at festivals and concerts during August and September. E-Mail nominations are also accepted.
The awards honor primarily non-touring Northern California bluegrass bands and musicians in nine categories: Bluegrass Band, Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist, Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, Dobro, and Bass.
Awards will be presented during the January 23-26, 2014 Northern California Bluegrass Society Bluegrass On Broadway Festival in Redwood City. The FREE festival receives principal financial support from the City Of Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission and from other Redwood City area organizations, agencies, and businesses.
