The Gibson Brothers reign supreme at the IBMA Awards this year. Not only did they hang on to the Entertainer of the Year Award for a 2nd consecutive year, they also came away with the most awards of the day - a total of 4.

- Recorded Event of the Year - "What'll I Do?" By Terry Baucom and Sam Bush!
- Emerging Artist of the Year - Della Mae!
- Mandolin Player of the Year - Adam Steffey
- Banjo Player of the Year - Mike Munford!
- Male Vocalist of the Year - Junior Sisk!
- Fiddle Player of the Year - Jason Carter!
- Instrumental Recorded Performance of the Year - "Foggy Mountain Rock"
- Dobro Player of the Year - Rob Ickes!
- Vocal Group of the Year - The Gibson Brothers!
Earlier in the day, Eric Gibson was also presented with the Songwriter of the Year Award at the special luncheon.
Fiddler Paul Warren and Guitar master Tony Rice were inducted into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame.
