Brad Davis and Bluegrass Valley Records initially teamed up for an independent release of A BLUEGRASS TRIBUTE TO GEORGE JONES and wound up turning a lot of heads with the project. So much so that Mansion Entertainment has picked the project up and will be reissuing the release through Sony RED today.
In conjunction with the reissue of the project through Sony RED, the new single "We're Gonna Hold On" has also been released to Bluegrass radio.
The entire project is the product of Brad's own Bluegrass styling, formed by a lifetime of Bluegrass influence and is a tribute to an icon whose influences contributed to both Country and Bluegrass genres of music; George Jones.
Nashville industry executive DeWayne Brown of Sony RED states, "I grew up on early WSM Radio, Bluegrass , and Country music – Since getting my hand on a copy of Brad’s new project I cannot seem to remove it from my CD player , nor do I wish to – this is an amazing project.”
This will also prove to be a busy year for Brad not only with the release but in the studio and on the road. Late this year you'll find Brad opening for the new Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters' tour. This will allow Brad the opportunity to share his acoustic stylings with a whole new fan base.
Brad's tour itinerary also includes Bluegrass stops like The Legendary Station Inn, The Wolcot 47th Annual 4th of July Festival and others. For more tour information or information regarding 'A Bluegrass Tribute To George Jones' visit BradDavisMusic.com.
