Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road have taken North America by storm in 2015, and they continue to build upon that momentum with their latest John Conlee-assisted video, "Common Man," which was recently spotlighted by Rolling Stone. The combination of Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road with Conlee brings new life to the tune, more than 30 years after the release with Rolling Stone noting:

| The popular music magazine also noted that in the current version, Conlee's voice appears to have retained the soul and brawn that helped him claim six Number One hits in the late Seventies and early Eighties. They stated the original version had a more bouncy rhythm and sunny pop sheen that was the standard at the time, whereas this new version strips the song back to its elements and glides on a double-time rhythm from the players.
