Exciting Future Ahead for Fiddle Player Greg Moore!

With the release of Moore’s
new project, HOLLOW BOX RHYTHM,

and a lot of opportunities being
presented, he has decided to look
into his options in bluegrass music to
seek and find a band with the
hard-driving, traditional
bluegrass sound that he has
always loved
.

Extraordinary bluegrass fiddle player, Greg Moore has had a very full and honorable career so far, playing on stage with some of the most respected names in the business, including the Dave Evans and Riverbend, Tony Holt and The Wildwood Boys, Melvin Goins, The James King Band and Junior Sisk & Rambler’s Choice.

This past year has been full of new experiences for Greg, showcasing his skill, motivation and drive for consistently trying to better himself as a musician.

Not only did he record and release his first full length project, out this past July, but he also earned a nomination for SPBGMA Fiddle Player of the Year.

Most recently, Greg had been playing fiddle and touring with Remington Ryde, a band based out of Pennsylvania, which has been extremely convenient for Greg and his wife, Deena (Frankhouser) Moore, as they also make their home in Pennsylvania. During his tenure with the “Ryde,” Moore says he “had a lot of fun and laughs!”

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ryan Frankhouser of Remington Ryde for the last couple of years on the road. I was able to go to many new places and meet a lot of new people. Though my time with this band has come to an end, I am excited about what the future holds. Since recording the CD I realized it’s time to explore my opportunities, and delve further into my craft, my instrument skills and my sound as an artist. I appreciate all of my friends, family, and folks supporting my career and the new record and I look so forward to making you all proud with whatever happens next!”

Greg is fielding requests to fill in on band dates, as well as scheduling studio sessions over the next several months to round out 2016. Moore is also proud to announce that he will be joining Randall Hibbitts and Appalachia on tour.

Hibbitts, also the former bass player for the Clinch Mountain Boys is looking forward to ramping up his 2017 tour and to playing music with Greg for whom he has had a long admiration of his fiddle style.
