Flatt Lonesome has scored some rather nice kudos from country music's CMT Edge. The online publication rated them as one of "Five Acts to Watch in 2015."
Flatt Lonesome, a polished, coed string band, is guided by its young members’ visions of modern bluegrass according to the article published last week.
Flatt Lonesome has signed a long-term recording contract with Pisgah Ridge Records (an imprint of Mountain Home Music Company). The group recently finished recording their debut album at Crossroads Studios for a first-quarter 2013 release.
This young, talented group has certainly made their mark in the Bluegrass world, winning the coveted SPGMA Band Competition in 2012. Their upcoming release will showcase their diversity with a mix of hard-hitting Bluegrass, Country, and Gospel songs.
