The late April tornado victims in Tennessee will be getting more help from a special benefit concert scheduled for June 3rd.
Bluegrass artist Carrie Hassler, with two songs currently on the charts, will lend her splendid vocal talents along with gospel group Greater Vision.
Four people lost their lives in the tornado that ripped through the New Harmony, Brayton and Pitts Gap communities of Bledsoe County, TN and several others suffered injury. Of more than 200 buildings hit, 30 homes and three businesses were completely destroyed. In other areas of the county, straight-line winds estimated at 100-plus miles per hour added to the devastation.
Carrie Hassler, a native of Pikeville, TN is taking the stage in support of her neighbors. She is currently recording a new album for Rural Rhythm Records to be released later this year.
