TV Special Celebrates Bluegrass

Rural Rhythm Records announces the premiere of BLUEGRASS COMES TO THE VALLEY on RFD-TV  as part of Reno’s Old Time Music. 

Ronnie takes a trip up to the Valley with some great music and history of Renfro Valley, Kentucky.  This two part show includes performances by: Marty Raybon, Carrie Hassler, Audie Blaylock & Redline, Rodney Dillard & The Dillard Band, and the Darrell Webb Band.

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, currently celebrating their 20th anniversary together, will perform the National Anthem for the first Southeastern Conference football game of the season on Thursday, August 30th when South Carolina plays Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee.

The celebrated bluegrass ensemble has become very well-known for their stellar vocal arrangements and have been awarded the International Bluegrass Music Association's Vocal Group of the Year seven times.

One of bluegrass music’s favorite groups, LONESOME RIVER BAND debuted songs from their CHRONOLOGY VOLUME TWO album last weekend in front of 10,000 attendees of the popular RudyFest Festival in Kentucky.  The album officially releases next Tuesday, July 3, 2012 on Rural Rhythm Records and is the second of three 8 song EPS releasing this year commemorating LONESOME RIVER BAND’s 30th anniversary. 

Today’s new single release, "I Barely Beat The Daylight In" from CHRONOLOGY, VOLUME TWO comes right on the heels of their current chart single, “Close the Door Lightly When You Go” from CHRONOLOGY, VOLUME ONE.

Big TV Taping Day for Roys Fans–Two Shows This Saturday!

Bluegrass stars THE ROYS make two national TV appearances this Saturday, June 2, as they are guests on both RFD-TV's Reno's Old Time Music Festival and the PBS Special, Pa's Fiddle: America's Music.

Reno's Old Time Music Festival, hosted by Bluegrass legend Ronnie Reno, features THE ROYS singing five songs from their current CD, LONESOME WHISTLE.
