AMAZ Radio is dedicated to promoting and preserving Folk, Acoustic, Americana and Independent music.
The station already plays a large percentage of bluegrass in it's daily mix but AMAZ Radio Station owner, Robert Zucker, says, "Prescription Bluegrass with Brian McNeal every week is part of a concentrated effort to continue the mission of providing programming on the station that features the musical genres we believe represent a significant part of the American musical culture."
Prescription Bluegrass is a weekly hour-long radio program conveniently disguised as "group therapy" for those who suffer from "bluegrass fever". According to McNeal who hosts the therapy each week, "the program is designed for those who just don't get enough upbeat pickin' in the parlor, enough fast pickin' flat-pickin' or for those with a condition known as 'slow-note' overdose."
Those needing auditory therapy as only Prescription Bluegrass can provide are encouraged to attend each Sunday evening at 9 AZ Mountain Time (Monday at 4am GMT). Therapy is provided right in the afflicted’s own home, office or location of their choosing. All one need do is tune in to AMAZRADIO.ORG and let the therapy begin.
