Congratulations to Stephen Mougin who was recently voted onto the IBMA Board of Directors by the membership to serve as Member at Large.
Stephen is the guitar player in Sam Bush’s band and owns Dark Shadow Recording studios and label.
During the off-season with the Sam Bush band, he tours and records in a duo with Ned Luberecki – “Nedski and Mojo”.
Stephen is a private instructor of voice, guitar and mandolin as well as directing workshops and band coaching. He is a certified educator in Massachusetts and Tennessee, holding a degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
He has toured and/or recorded with: John Oates, Sam Bush, Hank Williams III, Jim Lauderdale, Randy Kohrs, Melonie Cannon, Audie Blaylock, Valerie Smith, April Verch, and many more.
