Lyric Alana Frizzell |
Each month is jam packed with Nashville's best established talent in the Country, Bluegrass, Americana and Roots genres to benefit two year old Lyric Alana Frizzell (offset costs incurred while living at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital) whom was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of Leukemia at ten months old. After spending 6 months undergoing harsh chemo treatments at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
Lyric is now in what’s called a “partial remission,” which simply means she has responded well to the chosen chemo treatment. She now frequents the Vanderbilt Cancer Clinic on a monthly basis and will do so for the next 3 and ½ years. If she can reach the 5 year mark without a relapse, she will be declared in full remission.
