Prescription Bluegrass has learned that a very popular bluegrass site for fans in the United Kingdom is undergoing some serious redesign.
A message from the host explains:
Nu-Blu kicks off their 10th Anniversary year with the launch of a brand new website and a national tour that will take them across the country performing at major festivals, concert halls, and more.
The band will soon announce details of an upcoming album, but are continuing the celebration of their latest album, NAIL BY NAIL.
The California Bluegrass Association has found a new feature that is generating a lot more traffic to their web page. It’s called THE MOLD which stands for More or Less Daily Bluegrass News and Other Stuff.
The CBA’s webmaster Rick Cornish says they’ve “…been running the feature for six weeks now and it's done a lot to boost traffic.” He added that the posted items are “very quirky and off beat.”

A new website has been launched that features news and events in the acoustic music arena.
John Hart, founder of NewFolkRadio.com, launched the site October 27, 2012 at www.AcousticMusicPinboard.com.
The news site is designed to allow anyone connected with acoustic music in some fashion to become an author and post images and text.
We’re not as old as some but we have undergone a procedure to give a new sparkle to our appearance. So far in our test audience, the reviews are mixed. Some like it and some prefer the “Older Look.”
What’s your opinion on our new “LOOK”? We’ve upgraded both our blog site here and our main Prescription Bluegrass website. Please check them both out and let us know what you think. All comments (except Spam) will be posted.
A few weeks ago we told you to be watching for a brand new website dedicated to Bluegrass Gospel. Well it’s here. Blessed Bluegrass is a sister site to NationalBluegrass.com and like them it is a membership site. Memberships are free but at present the site is still growing and needs your help.
www.nationalbluegrass.com
is a relatively new website with an interesting concept. We first discovered the site after The Gold Sisters sent us a note that they were in the running for a new award that we’d not heard about. In researching the site, we discovered that there are actually five bluegrass bands all competing for something called the B.O.R.N. Award. (Volume Five, Monroeville, The Hillbenders, and Blue Moon Rising round out the other four). Last month’s award winner was Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen.
