R-Entertainment, the management company for the Amphitheater and promoter of this concert, will be auctioning a brand new banjo at the concert to be signed by Steve Martin himself.

All proceeds from the Banjo auction will go to benefit    Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music who will once again be producing the annual Pickin In The Pines Bluegrass and Acoustic Music Festival – now in it’s 6th year.

Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music is a non-profit group who continue to seek creative ways  in which to raise the funds necessary to produce one of the country's premier annual bluegrass festivals.

Doors to the Steve Martin/Rangers concert open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 8:00pm.  Tickets are still available for both reserved and general admission seating.

The Rangers and Martin just recently became the unofficial Ambassadors of Bluegrass Music Worldwide when they brought their impeccable sound and Martin's quick wit to the attention of nation and the world as hundreds of thousands watched their televised performance on the Washington Mall as part of the "A Capitol Fourth" Independence Day Celebration.  In 2010, the Rangers with Martin already held the record for the group who played for more people* than any other bluegrass band.  2011 already shows to be even bigger, as the group continues their nationwide tour with Martin to support their collaborative project - "Rare Bird Alert"
