Change of Venue for This Weekend’s Herschel & Joyce Sizemore Benefit Festival
This concert is to benefit both Herschel and Joyce Sizemore with mounting medical bills after both were diagnosed with cancer.
Due to the incredible demand for seats at this event, the show will be moving from the Scottish Rite theater into the Roanoke Civic Center Auditorium! Over 2000 comfortable seats, premium sound by Dewey Peters and Wayne Weikel of Catawba Sound, and the second floor mezzanine grille & bar WILL BE OPEN for food, drinks, and ABC! So come early, plan to spend the day, and help us to raise a ton for Herschel & Joyce!
Artists scheduled to appear include The Seldom Scene, Junior Sisk & Rambler's Choice, Grasstowne, The Travelers, Acoustic Endeavors, Springfield Exit w/Sammy Shelor, Johnny & Jeanette Williams, The Stacy Grubb Band, Republik Steele, The Bluegrass Brothers, Kevin Baucom & Bandwagon and Del McCoury & the Dixie Pals Reunion.

TWO REUNION SHOWS PLANNED FOR THE WEEKEND
As if it weren't already pretty exciting to have Del McCoury & The Dixie Pals Reunion (Del, Jerry McCoury, Dick Smith, Herschel Sizemore, Jon Glik) at this show on February 19, you’ll also be treated to a Johnson Mountain Boys Reunion as well! Dudley Connell, David McLaughlin, and Marshall Wilborn will be joined by David & Linda Lay, and Sammy Shelor on banjo for a revival of some old JMB tunes. Yet another rare and exceptional performance on the show…..as of this posting, it looks fairly good that the Punch Brothers will appear as well. The benefit’s Facebook page is promoting; “Chris Thile and four of his best friends will make an appearance on Sunday afternoon”
