Spruce and Maple Music announces the release of Steam and Steel: Songs of Railroad’s Golden Age A collection of ten songs inspired by historic stories and tales of the Golden Age of the Steam Locomotive, written by train historian Ken Hojnacki and performed by a cast of award-winning bluegrass musicians, produced by Laurie Lewis.
“I was asked to produce a recording of songs written by railroad historian Ken Hojnacki for the Mid-Continent Railway Museum, in North Freedom, WI. Scott Huffman, Tom Rozum, Patrick Sauber, Chad Manning, Andrew Conklin, and steel guitar wizard Bobby Black all pitched n and made these songs come alive.
