Jeff Scroggins and Colorado are excited to officially announce that KC Groves has joined the band on Upright bass.
Miss Groves is a founding member of the well-known old time band and Rounder recording artists, “Uncle Earl.”
She is also a well established member of the traditional musical community, recently on staff as educator at the Rockygrass Kids Academy and Bluegrass Camps for Kids as well as performing advocacy for the genre through her work with the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society and Central Rockies Old-Time Music Association.
Miss Groves moved to Colorado in 2000 and has since worked in the studio with musicians as divergent as Charles Sawtelle and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones.
Besides Uncle Earl, she has released two solo albums of original material and was a Telluride Troubadour contest finalist.
