Volunteer’s Needed At World of Bluegrass Conference

ibma pickThe IBMA’s first conference year in Raleigh, NC has some great possibilities for success but also for a jillion little “SNAFUs” that can do anything from putting a damper on someone’s fun to really wrecking the occasion.

That’s why the IBMA relies upon hundreds of volunteers every year but this year the volunteers will play an even bigger roll in the overall success due to the newness and variety of venues that will encompass the World of Bluegrass Convention, Awards, Exhibits, Showcases and Street Fest.

IBMA needs volunteers to work a total of 3 four-hour shifts over the course of the week.  Jobs include ticket sales, merchandise sales, seminar monitors, registration, backstage help, and more.  It's required that you sign up and Image635137354496022155volunteer all four hours of that shift (sorry, no splitting two hours here and there). Shifts can start as early as 8am and end as late as 2am.

For working 3 four-hour shifts you receive:

  • World of Bluegrass business conference registration (3 days)
  • Bluegrass Ramble Showcase pass
  • Access to the Wide Open Bluegrass Side stage (Convention center only)
  • Free Parking for the full week
  • Access to the all new volunteer hospitality room in the Convention Center.
  • World of Bluegrass Volunteer T-Shirt

...All to enjoy at your leisure when you aren't helping World of Bluegrass spin!
