Nashville, TN – The Mark Newton’s Lyrics for Lyric Benefit Show is proud to announce the addition of featured Country/ Bluegrass Star, Jim Lauderdale to Tuesday nights September 20th Lyrics for Lyric Benefit Show at Roosters TX Style BBQ & Steakhouse. 

The September 20th Lyrics for Lyric Benefit Show will be the tenth installment of the monthly benefit concert series at Roosters TX Style BBQ and Steakhouse, located at 123 12th Avenue North, Nashville, TN. 37203 and hosted by Mark Newton, IBMA Award winning Stylist/ Musician and one of today's most respected interpreters of bluegrass music.

White Horse Black Mountain in Black Mountain NC kicks off the fall schedule for it Where The Hills Are Blue concert series on Friday September 
2^nd with Mark Newton's Stillhouse Band and The Moore Brothers.

The concert series continues on Friday October 7^th with Niall Toner (from Ireland) and Asheville NC area band Bobby and the Bluegrass Tradition. On October 15^th, the series presents Grasstowne and Cumberland River.

M ark Newton proudly announced his new band formation today at the offices of Mountain Music Entertainment. The new band will be representation of multi-award winning bluegrass and roots music artist Mark Newton’s styling and will also add to the mix two new members that will round out the regularly touring trio.
Banjoist, Bassist, and Vocalist Andrew Blythe and Dobroist, Guitarist, and Vocalist Leah Needham comprise the trio with Newton.

Mark is well known for his contributions to the field of bluegrass and acoustic music as an artist, producer, writer, and vocalist.

Mountain Music Entertainment proudly announces exclusive management representation of Rebel Records multi-award winning bluegrass artist Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice. The partnership became official the week of April 11th. Mountain Music Entertainment will provide full management representation for Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice under the new agreement.

Lyric Alana Frizzell is the daughter of Crystal Singleton and Corey Frizzell. Her first name given to her in honor of the Frizzell family musical heritage. On July 28th, 2009, we received the most devasting news of our lives. Lyric was diagnosed with an aggressive, rare form of AML Leukemia at 10 months old. In fact, she is the only person in history to have this newly discovered cancer. Lyric is now being treated at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN. After enduring six months of chemo, Lyric is in what's called a partial remission, which simply means that she has responded well to the chosen treatment, but must frequent the Vanderbilt Cancer Clinic once a month for the next four years to continue to treat and monitor her progress. She has a high chance of a relapse the first two years after chemo but if she can reach the five year mark with no relapse, she will be declared in full remission.
