Rural Rhythm Records to Record Bean Blossom Live!

Special project is in celebration of the
100th anniversary of Bill Monroe’s birth


Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce a live album recording during the 45th Annual Bill Monroe Memorial Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Father of BluegrassBill Monroe.  This 8-day event began today and runs through June 18, 2011.


With over 50 bluegrass bands performing during the festival, we are proud to announce the following performances  by Rural Rhythm artists:  Lonesome River Band, Russell Moore & III Tyme Out, Bobby Osborne & Rocky Top X-Press, Lou Reid & Carolina, Audie Blaylock & Redline, Blue Moon Rising, Grasstowne, Brand New Strings, Carolina Road, The Bartley Brothers, Rickey Wasson, Dwight McCall along with other special artists including Ronnie Reno and many more.


This live album is scheduled for release later this year and is being produced by Sammy Shelor of the Lonesome River Band with Rural Rhythm Records President, Sam Passamano serving as Executive Producer. We are very proud to announce Thomas Adler,author of the 2011 publication of “Bean Blossom: The Brown County Jamboree and Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Festivals,” will be providing the liner notes for this highly anticipated new album.

On site production staff includes: Tom Fuller and Dale Perry as the live recording engineers; the park’s owner, Dwight Dillman as the Event Executive; Sammy Passamano IIIas Video Producer; with Hope River Entertainment as Media Coordinator for the live album.

The 45th Annual Bill Monroe Memorial Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival is held at the Bill Monroe Memorial Bluegrass Music Park & Campground located at 5163 SR 135N, Bean Blossom, Indiana  46160.  The event includes a stellar line-up of over 50 bluegrass bands including Dr. Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain BoysThe Grascals and so many other acts.  The popular Youth Bluegrass Boot Camp is sponsored this year by J. D.
