IBMA Offers Feb. 16 Webinar: “DIY Song Publishing”
REGISTERATION OPEN TO NON-IBMA MEMBERS!
Join Belmont University instructor/ former longtime ASCAP executive Dan Keen Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6-7:30 p.m. Central for the next IBMA webinar: “DIY Song Publishing.”
Participants will explore the basics of registering songs with the U.S. Copyright office and with a PRO, issuing a mechanical license, applying to PROs for live gig funds and more.
The specifics of acquiring a mechanical license to cover someone else’s song will also be discussed.
The webinar will be aimed at songwriters and new publishers, but artists, record label reps or anyone interested in the business of songwriting is welcome.
