Image634805566848632610Ralph Stanley, the Grammy-winning bluegrass and country singer, is now being booked for live performances by the Paradigm Agency.  Stanley will continue to be represented for publicity by Norma Morris of Morris Public Relations.

Currently averaging more than 100 shows a year, the 85-year-old Virginian has been performing professionally since he and his late brother, Carter, formed the Stanley Brothers band in 1946.

Stanley gained enormous popularity as the keystone act for the 2002 Down From The Mountain tour, a series of sold-out concerts inspired by the success of the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?and its multimillion-selling soundtrack album.

Recognized worldwide as a vocal stylist in the Appalachian mountain music tradition, Stanley was the first performer of the 21st century to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.  He has won three Grammys—including one for Best Male Country Vocal Performance—as well as the Living Legend award from the Library of Congress and the Traditional American Music award from the National Endowment of the Humanities.  The Stanley Brothers were among the first inductees into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame.

Rolling Stone has dubbed Stanley “a master performer without an expiration date.”
