Fiddler and songwriter, Laurie Lewis takes advantage of a Photo Op with famed banjo-man Sonny Osborne.
A former “Bluegrass Boy” with Bill Monroe at age 14 before joining brother Bobby and forming the now famous Osborne Brothers act, Sonny retired from professional playing in 2005 due to a shoulder injury which impacted his ability to play up to his standards.
Sonny is an International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor member, inducted in 1994.
Laurie Lewis is a Grammy® winner, 1997 for True Life Blues: The Songs of Bill Monroe and a two-time recipient of the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year award – 1992 and 1994.
