“She Left Me Standing On A Mountain” is the title of the latest CD from Ohio’s long-time traditional bluegrass standard bearers LARRY EFAW & THE BLUEGRASS MOUNTAINEERS.
The CD released on Tom T. and Dixie Hall’s BLUE CIRCLE Records features several bluegrass standards from writers like Alton Delmore, Bill Monroe Ralph and Carter Stanley and that other Carter in the bluegrass world who liked to use the initials A.P.
Noted BMI songwriter Edward Efaw, the elder statesman and founder of the band has 4 of his own compositions on the project. The sparks the Bluegrass Mountaineers ignite preforming traditional bluegrass music is unique. Their burning desire fueled by their experience and the music shared by four generations to continue a family tradition. In a quest to carry on the traditional bluegrass sound, they combine old time claw hammering and twin fiddling to their style. The Bluegrass Mountaineers have achieved a variety of accomplishments.
